The effects of high temperatures (above 130'F) may damage the impact absorbing materials of your helmet. The shell may also distort at these high temperatures. If the outer shell of your helmet distorts, the impact absorbing liner may also be damaged, and the helmet should be discarded. Troxel's warranty does not cover the helmet melting under extreme heat. |
Why can't I wear my bicycle helmet?

-The majority of equestrian brain injuries involve hitting the back of the head and bicycle helmets have
less coverage of the back of the head.
-The harness system on a bicycle helmet isn't designed to hold up to the force of a fall from a horse.
